The Original Spinphony

The picture to the left is the
sculpture that inspired me to
make Spinphony. Just like
Spinphony it had 3 oscillators
and a clear rotating disk that
you could affix pictures to.
The spinning pictures would
cast shadows from a light
source onto exposed photo-
sensitive resistors in the
oscillator circuits and modulate
pitch and volume.
Because of the warbling and
buzzing sounds it made while
assembling the parts I originally
called it the Beetle Machine.
